The Story
Harry Potter (played by Daniel Radcliffe) is a normal guy, who is skinny and wears his cousins old clothes, which are far to big for him.
His parents died in a car crash, so he had to live with his aunt and uncle. They never liked him, and always want to displease Harry as much as they can.
One night, on Harry's birthday, a giant steps into this cottage, and tells Harry he's a wizard and can come to this school: Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
He goes there, and discovers this whole new world.
He gets to fly a broomstick, and discover he's really talented for that, he gets to use a wand and make objects fly and much, much more!
He also gets, for the first time in his life, real friends. Hermione Granger (played by Emma Watson) and Ron Weasley (played by Rupert Grint).
But what is the most bizarre thing for Harry.. is that he's famous
Apparently, his parents didn't die in a car crash, but were killed, well, bruteley murdered by a wizard named Voldemort. Voldemort also tried to kill Harry, but somehow couldn't.
The curse rebounded off Harry and hit Voldemort himself. Barely alive, Voldemort fled, and little Harry Potter became a legend in the wizarding world
When Harry, Ron and Hermione get on track of something mysterious in the castle.. they get in trouble.
They found out that Voldemort, the man who killed Harry's parents, was trying to seek the Philosopher's (Sorcerer's) Stone and steal it.
The Stone could transform every metal into pure gold and it produces the Elixer of Live, which would make the drinker immortal (Hermione: "which means you'll never die")
If Voldemort could get this Stone, he would come back, and kill Harry and much, much more people to get to power.
Harry, Ron and Hermione go on a funny, scary and exciting adventure to try and stop Voldemort.
The story is full of courage, friendship, and laughter.
Harry Potter and the Philosopher's/Sorcerer's Stone is a film I'd recommend you to watch!
