DAN & RUPERT NEWS: Ace of Cakes!

The Food Network aired their Harry Potter special on a new episode of Ace of Cakes! The cake was shaped like Hogwarts and brought to the Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix premiere in Los Angeles, California. Rupert Grint and Daniel Radcliffe were both interviewed at the party. Thanks to TLC for a clip!

SITE NEWS: Bigger and Better Plans

     Hey guys! My winter break is coming to a quick close, earlier than I expected. I know it doesn't seem like I've been doing my best to keep the site up and running like I used to, but now I can finally reveal why! For the past two weeks, I've been working on the site everyday behind the scenes. Editing things here and there plus thinking of some new ideas for HarryPotterTrio.com

     We want to be the best source for everything Trio. We're completely expanding our network. It's going to be fun. I have many plans in store for you guys. We're going to go beyond just a news source. Although I don't want to give all the surprises away, I just wanted to let you know that there will be some tiny problems with the site while it's under matienence.

     I also want to ask you guys for what you want. This is a website to inform you and to entertain you, so please give us some hints of what you guys would like to see here. I'm giving you guys my email to reach me and I'll try my best to answer all of you. Anything from suggestions to comments, please email me about whatever you'd like. We want to get to know you guys. So email or leave a comment, it would really help me make this site better than ever. Thank you and stay tuned for some great updates.

DAN NEWS: Dan Talks About 'Journey'

Empire Online has a new interview with Daniel Radcliffe in which Daniel talks about his new role in Journey. Daniel speaks about the production:

"There's a lot of stuff flying around about this at the moment. I am absolutely attached to it and it would be amazing to play that part. But people are making assumptions about when it's going to happen and it won't happen – if indeed it does happen – for a while yet. But basically...Eldon grew up in Africa and discovered a gift and a passion for photography. Eventually he got too caught up in something that lead to his death."

Daniel also mentions that he met with Dan Eldon's family:

"They showed me some of his diaries, which the film will be based on mostly. They're incredible. There have got to be 20 books and they're all inches thick, with things sellotaped into them and with wires coming out and everything. He was someone who died very young, but seemed to live as full a life as much as anyone who lived to be a ripe old age. It'll be incredible to play him".

EMMA NEWS: Official Site Updated

Emma Watson's official website was updated today with some new additions to the F.A.Q. section. In the update, the website also mentions that Emma is very busy filming Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, preparing for her driving test, and studying for her A level exams.

[EDIT]: Thanks to Samantha for pointing this out to us. New questions weren't added to the F.A.Q. They were just drawing some attention to it.

DAN NEWS: Cricket Match for Dan?

According to The Sydney Morning Herald, Daniel Radcliffe might show up in Los Angeles, California this weekend to take part in a celebrity cricket match. The article says that Daniel might be playing with other well-known actors such as Russell Crowe, Jude Law, Robbie Williams, and Mick Jagger.

Australia Week G’Day USA is hosting the event to promote "Australian culture, fashion, food, wine, tourism and business" in the United States. The Hollywood Ashes Twenty20 match "will see Australian and English international cricket legends, celebrities and local players fight for the honour and glory of the Hollywood Ashes. These traditional rivals battle it out in an action packed 20/20 cricket match starting at 12 noon."

Tiger Beat magazine writer, also known as Blog Girl, got the chance to visit the Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince set! She also got to interview cast memebers as well. She posted an update on her blog about the visit. Here's a preview:
