RUPERT NEWS: Rupert attends Play.com Event

Rupert Grint attended the Play.com Live at Wembley Stadium in London last week. The event was for VIP guests to gather together and play video games. Here's a quote by Rupert from an interview with The Sun:

"We play loads of games on the set of Harry Potter when we're not filming. We have a Wii. This show is great, very cool. I've been playing Call of Duty with about 10 people. But I was crap, I only killed about two people. My favourites are driving games like Need For Speed, doing all the cars up."

DAN AND RUPERT: Video on HBP Set

Thanks to hbpmoviepics and vivisco, there's a new video of Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint on the set of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. E!'s The Daily 10 online, has a clip of some scene filmed from the Gloucester Cathedral in London.

HP NEWS: Deathly Hallows = 2 Films

It's official! Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows will be split into two films according to the Los Angeles Times. The movies will be called "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part I" and "Harry Potter and the Dealthly Hallows Part II." Producer, David Heyman, has confirmed that director, David Yates, will return for both film and so will screenwriter, Steven Kloves. The article has quotes from both Heyman and Daniel Radcliffe:

"I think it's the only way you can do it without cutting out a huge portion of the book. There have been compartmentalized subplots in the other books that have made them easier to cut -- although those cuts were still to the horror of some fans -- but the seventh book doesn't really have any subplots. It's one driving, pounding story from the word go."

Part I is set to be released November 2010 and Part Two will be released sometime in May 2011.

EMMA NEWS: Empire Awards 2008!

     Emma Watson made a beautiful appearance at the 2008 Sony Ericsson Empire Awards yesterday evening. Even without winning awards Emma was the talk of the red carpet in her gorgeous dress and makeup. At the Empire Awards website, Emma makes the cover of the slideshow as well as popping up frequently in it. Here are some of the comments made by the officials:

EMMA NEWS: Empire Awards E.M.S.

Emma Watson's official website was updated today with a new message from Emma! In the message Emma talks about the upcoming Empire Awards. She mentions that she will be attending the ceremony as well as maybe presenting an award.

Here are the nominations: Emma Watson is nominated for Best Actress, Daniel Radcliffe is nomiated for Best Actor, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix is nominated for Best Movie, and David Yates is nominated for Best Director.
