-There will be a new Minister of Magic (this, however, will NOT be Arthur Weasley) -The wizarding world is in war in the sixth book. -The Dursleys are in the next book, but Harry's stay with them will be the shortest yet. -There will be a "little romance" for Harry (but it's not with Cho Chang) -In books 6 and 7 we will find out why J.K. killed off Sirius -In books 6 and 7 we will find out why Dumbledore trusts Snape -We will find out what happened to Hagrid's half brother Grawp -We will find out what happened to Sirius's flying motorbike. -Harry becomes even more powerful in book 6. -We will find out what happened to Wormtail (and where he was during the book 5) -Hermione and Draco will not end up together in book 6 or 7 -We will find out what Dudley remembered when he was near the Dementors -The reason Voldemort and Harry both didn't die when Voldemort tried to kill Harry, will be revealed -More about Voldemort's birth will be revealed, thus helping us understand why he is so evil -Harry will tell his dearest friends about the prophesy after he is ready -We'll learn more about Harry's scar in the books 6 and 7 -We will learn more about Harry's relatives, including his grandparents (though they are not important to the story) -It's very important in the plot that Harry has his mother's eyes, and that her wand was very good for charms. -The choice between what's right and what's easy will be a pillar of the plot in Harry's last 2 years at Hogwarts -Harry's parents' profession will be a big part of the plot -Something huge will be revealed about Lily Potter (but she is not alive and she has not been a death eater) -We will see more of Draco's mother, Narcissa Malfoy -Since Ron turns 17 in March, so he'll be of age (so allowed to do magic outside school) and he'll be allowed to take his Apparating exam. -In July Harry and the rest of his year will receive an owl with the results of their O.W.Ls (Ordinary Wizarding Levels) -Neville will get a new wand, since his one (the one that used to be his fathers) broke in the Department of Mysteries. -Harry probably will be back on the Gryffindor Quidditch Team, as a Seeker (of course) -If Harry gets back on the team, Ginny will probably become a Chaser. -There will be spot open as a Chaser, since Angelina Johnson and Alicia Spinnet are leaving the school -In Transfiguration classes Harry and his fellow students will start human transformations. -Tom Riddle (Voldemort) isn't, nor is Harry or Dudley, the Half-Blood Prince. -We'll find out more about Aunt Petunia. There's something about her that we don't know yet, however it has been confirmed that she isn't a Squib! She is just a Muggle! -There is supposed to be a link between HP and the Chamber of Secrets and HP and the Half-Blood Prince. It's is a sort of discovery Harry made, which has something to do with what he finds out in HP and the Half-Blood Prince. This discovery is also in the film HP and the Chamber of Secrets. -Muggles will notices a lot of odd things now that Voldemort has returned. Which means that the war's actually started, and isn't a big secret like in HP and the Order of the Phoenix -Tonks and Moaning Myrtle will make an appearance again in the future books -Book six will be shorter than book 5, J.K. stated, she says she's 99% sure. This has been confirmed by Bloomsbury. A bit shorter, they say. -The title of the 6th book will be Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince |
